JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW
Maintains the quality and accuracy of loan servicing data, driving the customer (borrower, client,
payee and internal customer) experience with loans under service with Statebridge Company and
minimizing the risk of damage, default, foreclosure, and repossession by ensuring timely and
accurate payments for items under escrow and monitoring for non-escrow accounts pertaining to
insurance, taxes, and HOA. Will have a key role in the day-to-day analysis and decisions related
to escrow. This position will be vital in the management of escrow vendors to ensure Service
Level Agreements are maintained. Individual must be able to work with minimum supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate records and communication with the Escrow vendors, including
    vendors overseeing tax, hazard insurance, flood zone and private mortgage insurance
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly vendor and investor reporting and perform data
    exception reviews.
  • Process Escrow disbursements from borrower accounts as they become due
  • Identify and resolve tax, insurance, private mortgage insurance, HOA/COA and Escrow
    Analysis exceptions and issues.
  • Explain payment and Escrow changes to internal and external parties
  • Assist in monthly remittance and account reconciliations
  • Ensure all incoming Escrow-related mail, faxes, and emails are reviewed and managed as
    needed.
  • Complete annual, bankruptcy, modification, and on-boarding Escrow Analyses on all escrowed accounts
  • Communicate with vendors regarding exceptions to identify and resolve issues and trends
  • Manage flow of information between vendors and internal departments
  • Support onboarding and de-boarding activities
  •  Reconcile Vendor Service Invoices for accuracy and request payment
  • Perform vendor audits
  • Request and validate new report requests
  • Provide support on responses to regulator, investor, and state audit requests
  • Maintain and create job aids as needed
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Associates degree; or five years mortgage experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): No certifications needed

Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Internet Explorer)
  • Thorough knowledge of mortgage servicing documents and processes, particularly
    those related to escrow administration.
